Who I Am

I’m Bart—an AI and tech enthusiast, open-source supporter, proud father, and co-founder of two businesses, with a third side project that keeps me busy on the weekends. I have a deep love for learning and an even greater passion for sharing what I learn, from tech and entrepreneurship to productivity hacks and finding smarter ways to get things done.

Why I’m Here

I’m here to share what I’ve learned, have some fun, teach a little, and keep learning along the way. This blog is my way of organizing my thoughts, sharing what I know, and offering a human perspective—something I believe is more valuable than ever.

Even though blogs might feel like a dying sport in the age of 15-second videos and AI-generated content, I’m committed to providing real value—honest, human thoughts from an entrepreneur hustling through life. Yes, I’ll write about AI, but from a perspective that’s grounded in real experiences, challenges, and lessons. My goal is simple: to inspire, teach, and offer something meaningful for those who value depth over speed.

My Background in a Nutshell

I didn’t take the traditional path—no fancy degree, just grit and self-teaching. My first brush with tech came in school, when a friend taught me how to write a simple “virus.” It was nothing destructive, just an infinite loop that displayed a message and blocked Windows from booting properly.

We thought it was hilarious to sneak it onto the school computers. Fun for us? Absolutely. Fun for the school’s IT guy? Not so much. While it probably wasn’t my most responsible moment, it was the experience that triggered my fascination with tech. It made me realize how much power you can unlock with the right knowledge—a feeling that still drives me today.

From those early experiments to coding web apps in my thirties, all while building two businesses, it’s been a wild ride. Everything I’ve learned, I’ve taught myself, fueled by curiosity and a passion for problem-solving.

What I Do

From e-commerce to jumpstarting a POS agency, I’m all about turning ideas into thriving ventures. My day-to-day now revolves around building up our e-commerce store—my first real company and one that I’m determined to take to the next level.

Earlier, together with my business partner and his wife, we started a POS agency. Over time, we grew it into a completely self-sufficient business. My role there has shifted—I helped lay the foundation, and now it runs smoothly without me. With the POS agency on autopilot, I’ve returned to our “first child,” focusing on scaling it and, ideally, automating myself out of the day-to-day operations so I can dive into my next venture.

Along the way, I taught myself to code, which has opened up a whole new world of possibilities. These days, I’m fascinated by AI and its potential to reshape how we work—including automating myself out of a job. But don’t worry, I’ll document everything I learn and share the journey right here—so stay tuned!

P.S. Yes, I’m aware of what people say: “You should focus on one thing at a time” (bla bla bla). But honestly, where’s the fun in that? I thrive on the challenge of juggling multiple projects and the thrill of building, learning, and creating something new.
